Portugal - Fatima to Lisbon

This whole area is called The Sanctuary of Fátima. Outside the Basilica are a number of statues and monuments. This crucifix does not look that high here because of the angle but it towered over the statue of Pope John Paul 11, many metres in the air. It was quite overcast so the photo doesn't do it justice. Luckily the rain held out for us while we looked around.
